WYBOT C2

7.3/10 research score Cordless

List price $699.99 (as of Oct 2026)

Best for: Medium to large pools with fine dirt

Our verdict

The C2 is one of the best-value robots that cleans the waterline, and it works in above-ground pools too. Expect around 3 hours of runtime, basic navigation and mixed reports about the app and after-sales support.

The WYBOT C2 is one of the cheapest robots that cleans the waterline as well as the floor and walls. We have not tested it; this review combines WYBOT's 2026 specifications with three hands-on reviews and owner reports (our method).

Key specs

  • Cleans: floor, walls and waterline, in pools up to 2,152 sq ft (above-ground or in-ground)
  • Filter: 180 µm cartridges plus a 10 µm ultra-fine filter, 3 L
  • Suction: 3,592 GPH brushless pump
  • Runtime: up to 180 minutes in Eco mode; charging: 3 hours
  • Modes: seven (Full, Floor, Wall, Waterline only, Wall then Floor, Turbo, Eco), weekly scheduling up to 4 cleanings
  • Weight: 17.6 lb; warranty: 2 years

What testers found

  • Bob Vila used it for a month in a Florida screened pool and found it simple to set up and use: a low-cost, no-frills robot.
  • Home&Smart (Germany) rated it 90/100, praising navigation, obstacle handling and wall, waterline and floor cleaning, but noted the 2 to 3-hour battery won't cover very large pools and the app connects by Bluetooth before you start it.
  • The Pool Nerd was the most critical: its tester found the weekly timer gave 180 minutes in total for the week rather than per cleaning, and reported app login problems.

What owners report

Owner reviews on Trustpilot include units failing within months, a robot that cleaned only part of the pool, and slow customer service with repair shipping at the buyer's cost. These are individual reports, but they echo a pattern worth weighing against the low price.

Who should buy it

Buy the C2 for a medium above-ground or in-ground pool on a budget, especially if fine dust is a problem. If you want longer runtime and obstacle sensors at a similar sale price, look at the Beatbot Sora 10.

Robotic vs Suction Pool Cleaners: Which Is Worth It?

Suction cleaners are cheap to buy but run on your pool pump; robots cost more but clean walls, filter their own debris and use little power. We compare cost, cleaning and upkeep.
