Research, not hands-on testing
PoolRobots reviews and compares robotic pool cleaners using manufacturer documents, published measurements and owner reports, as explained in how we research. Unless an article says otherwise, we have not tested the product ourselves. Real-world results depend on your pool, its shape and surface, the debris you get and how the robot is maintained.
Not professional advice
Our troubleshooting guides cover common, low-risk fixes. They are not a substitute for the manufacturer's instructions or a qualified technician.
- Electrical safety: unplug the power supply before handling a robot, never handle a power supply or cable with wet hands, and keep power supplies away from the water as the manual says.
- Batteries: do not open, puncture or charge a damaged battery. Follow the maker's charging instructions.
- Water chemistry: follow the chemical maker's instructions and local regulations.
- Opening or repairing a robot may void its warranty. Check the warranty terms first.
Accuracy
We check facts against their sources and correct mistakes we find or are told about, but specifications, prices, firmware and availability change, and makers sometimes update products without notice. Confirm important details with the maker or store before you buy.
