The short answer
Beatbot wins for most pools: its Sora robots run longer at every price point, publish complete specs and come with 2 to 3-year warranties. Aiper wins at the extremes: the cheap Scuba SE for small above-ground pools, and the Scuba X1 Pro Max for the strongest suction and wireless charging.
Aiper and Beatbot both sell cordless robots that clean the floor, walls and waterline, and both now have four-in-one models that skim the surface too. The differences are in runtime, sensors, published detail and warranty. This comparison uses each brand's published specifications (how we research).

- Strongest robot: Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max. 8,500 GPH suction, ultrasonic mapping and a wireless dock, at a premium.
- Small above-ground pool on a budget: Aiper Scuba SE (floor only), covered in our above-ground guide.

Runtime and charging
Every Beatbot Sora is rated for up to 5 hours on the floor; the Sora 70 adds up to 7 hours of skimming. Aiper's Scuba S1 and X1 are rated for up to 180 minutes, while the X1 Pro Max reaches 5 hours on the floor and 10 hours skimming. Beatbot charges through a plug; Aiper's X1 uses a charging dock with contacts, and the X1 Pro Max a true wireless dock.
Cleaning power and filters
Aiper leads on suction: 6,600 GPH for the X1 and 8,500 GPH for the X1 Pro Max, against 6,800 GPH across the Sora range. Aiper also ships a 3 µm MicroMesh filter with the S1 and X series, while Beatbot's standard basket is 150 µm, with a 3 µm basket sold separately. If fine dust is your main problem, Aiper's filters are the better default.
Navigation
Beatbot uses ultrasonic obstacle avoidance on every Sora (one sensor on the Sora 10, two on the Sora 30 and 70). Aiper's Scuba S1 has no obstacle sensors, which is why owners report it getting stuck; the X1 adds ultrasonic sensors and the X1 Pro Max full mapping.
Pool types
This is a big practical difference. Beatbot lists the Sora range for above-ground and in-ground pools. Aiper lists the S1, X1 and X1 Pro Max for in-ground pools only.
Warranty and published detail
Beatbot publishes warranty length (2 years for the Sora 10 and 30, 3 years for the Sora 70), weight, dimensions and battery capacity for each model. Aiper's product pages leave out warranty and weight for the S1 and X series, and its S1 page lists three different runtimes. Neither makes Aiper's robots worse, but it makes them harder to judge.
Prices
On October 16, 2026, Beatbot's store listed the Sora 10, 30 and 70 at $699, $999 and $1,499 (on sale for $469, $699 and $1,199). Aiper's store did not show prices for the S1, X1 or X1 Pro Max on that day. Prices change often; use the buttons below for current prices.
Beatbot

Best for: Large pools with walls that need real scrubbing
Aiper

Verdict
For most owners, Beatbot gives more for the money: longer runtime, sensors on every model, above-ground support and a clear warranty. Aiper is the pick if you want the strongest suction and wireless charging (X1 Pro Max) or the cheapest floor cleaner for a small above-ground pool (Scuba SE).
